Why isn't my brand listed?
We list a butter only when it's sold as pure shea and we can verify the listing. These brands were in the directory and have been removed:
- Sky Organics: in September 2026 its Amazon listing changed from pure shea butter to a shea and babassu blend, and no pure shea listing remains. Its finished products are still on our made-with-shea page.
- SheaMoisture: its 100% raw shea butter is no longer available on Amazon; only formulated products remain. Its finished products are still on our made-with-shea page.
- Okere: its nilotica shea butter listing has been unavailable since September 2026. We'll re-add it if it comes back.
